Students from The Inspiration Academy private school who have gone through their Culinary Arts Module training volunteered once again at this year’s Flutter Gala. We thank the Fountain Hills Community Foundation for sponsoring this wonderful event, which helps fund local nonprofit groups that support youth, seniors, and families. This year’s event was held at the Centennial Pavilion at the Fountain Hills Community Center and was a huge success. We even had a surprise visit from one of our very talented staff members, Ms. Tessa, dressed up as a beautiful butterfly.
We thank Debbie J. Elder, owner of Culinary Curator, for her continued support of our school and our student volunteers. Our students helped Debbie’s staff prep and serve food to all of the event’s attendees.
Food for the event was graciously donated by various local restaurants and businesses. Here are some of the restaurants that donated food: Euro Pizza Cafe, Graze Craze, Batchelor’s Pad, Tap House, Arrivederci, Sapori D’Italia, and We-Ko-Pa Casino.
Here at The Inspiration Academy, we firmly believe that “not all education happens in a classroom”. Through our Community Module training programs, students get hands-on interactive learning with various local industry professionals, such as with chef Debbie J. Elder through our Culinary Arts Module. We here at The Inspiration Academy take immense pride in our dedicated student volunteers who consistently demonstrate their commitment to community service and personal growth. We are equally grateful for the unwavering support of their families who encourage their participation in these valuable learning experiences, as well as our cherished alumni who continue to stay connected and contribute to our school’s mission. Their collective dedication helps create the strong, supportive community that makes our school truly special.
