Elementary

Elementary (Grades 3-6) – TIA’s Elementary school curriculum is uniquely customized to fit each child’s needs and helps young learners acquire all the basic study skills and develop a lifelong love for learning. The multi-age classes and learning-center format allow us to individualize the instruction and meet kids where they are rather than using a one-size-fits-all specific grade level template. This means that students who need extra assistance can get it without being pushed ahead before they are ready and students who are advanced are not held back and are given a chance to move forward and flourish to do higher level work rather than just busy work. Below are just a few of the skills, concepts, and learning activities we will cover:

  • Novel studies
  • Essay writing
  • Project-based learning
  • Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Fractions, decimals, algebra, and geometry,
  • Handwriting practice
