TIA Mardi Gras Celebration 2024

We extend our deepest gratitude to Ms. Brittni for her exceptional work in organizing The Inspiration Academy’s Mardi Gras celebration. Her meticulous planning and execution of every detail ensured the success of this event. Not only did she put together an impressive celebration, but she also took the time to educate our students about the rich history and cultural significance of Mardi Gras. Her enthusiasm and commitment to this task were evident in her work, and our students were both educated and entertained in the process.

Horseshoe Dam Waterfall

Billy took our high school students off-road to go see the fantastic waterfall out at Horseshoe Dam. Our students had a great time exploring the falls and enjoyed swimming in the cold river below. The Horseshoe Dam is just 25 miles outside the beautiful town of Cave Creek. There is an 8 mile off-road portion of this trip to reach the dam. The dam is 1,500 feet long and 144 feet high. This dam is unique because there is a walking path that allows you to get behind the water flowing over the dam. You can get very close to the water below the dam, which cascades down into a beautiful multi-teared waterfall flowing over large rocks. The views are stunningly beautiful when there is a release of water. Just below Horseshoe Dam is some of Arizona’s best fishing. Popular spots include Catfish Point and Mesquite Cove. Not all education happens in a classroom. Onwards to our next adventure together!

TIA Thanksgiving Luncheon 2023

Dear valued students, families, and staff members at The Inspiration Academy,

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to each and every one of you for making our Thanksgiving luncheon such a wonderful and memorable event. Your attendance and participation were essential in making this day a true success.

We were truly grateful to see so many happy faces gathered around the tables, feasting on delicious meals, and spending quality time with one another. None of this would have been possible without the efforts and dedication of our amazing staff and families, who worked tirelessly to prepare and serve up a delicious feast for everyone.

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to express our sincere thanks to all who contributed to making this event a success, whether it was by bringing a dish to share, lending a helping hand, or simply showing up with your positive energy and spirit.

Thank you, once again, for making our Thanksgiving luncheon such a special occasion. We look forward to celebrating with you again in the future.

Warmest regards,

Lisa, Billy, and Devon Ristuccia

Washington D.C. Trip Fundraiser Dinner Report

From the bottom of our hearts, we here at The Inspiration Academy want to thank the community for coming out to support our student led Washington D.C. trip fundraiser dinner last night. We had over 60 people in attendance! A special thanks goes to Debbie J. Elder for coming in to teach our students methods of food preparation, cooking, baking, plating, and the fine art of cleaning up! Our students worked very hard together along with our amazing staff over three days preparing for the dinner service. We had a great jazz pianist to set the mood for the dinner, followed by a number of our students who also played the piano for us. We also want to thank our staff who worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to help make this dinner a great success.
